Your Rights

You have the right to be treated by a fully qualified physiotherapist who holds an annual practicing certificate; the right to be treated with dignity and respect at all times; the right to access your treatment notes and medical records; the right to be provided with appropriate privacy in clean and comfortable surroundings; and the right to be fully informed of the findings of the assessment process and the treatment offered. You have the full right to decline treatment or change your mind about treatment at any time. You also have the right to make a complaint and to utilise the advocacy services if you ever do require them. Which we hope you don’t need to! Our responsibility is to provide you with the best possible treatment we can offer; to respect your rights, including your privacy in all matters; and to keep you informed of all decisions made in relation to you and your condition, including contact with your doctor or specialist.
